Vintage, farmhouse barstool on tripod legs with footrest, circa 30's/40's This stool came from a farm in the South West of France, is handmade and crafted out of oak, with a rich, dark, oak-colored finish, and long legs that end in a concave shape. Piece is in overall good, original and vintage condition with some old marks, signs of age and previous usage commensurate with time, as well as patina of age and time, on the overall structure (see photos). Some old repairs under the trim of the seat, and a leg (see photos), some old marks of woodworm on the edge of the seat, as can be expected for a piece of nearly 100 years old. A slight discrepancy of a few millimeters on one side of the seat (see photos.) The stool has been fully treated, oiled and waxed with respect to its original patina of time. Anti scratch/ metal feet pads are present (see photos.) The stool is solid, stable and a great piece of decor to use as originally intended, or as a plantstand, in any given contemporary, farmhouse, industrial, vintage, or rustic-contemporary space.
