Founded in 1927 by Cesare and Umberto Cassina in Meda, Cassina introduced industrial design to Italy in the 1950s, following an unprecedented logic that heralded the transition from artisanal production to mass production. With an approach based on research and innovation, Cassina continues to combine technology with traditional craftsmanship to this day.
