Leather Chesterfield armchair // Delivered new in 2016 by Springvale Chesterfield in Gouda // Leather type/color: Oil Base Newcastle Dark Brown // Ornamental rivets in the same brown color (these look white by reflection but are brown) // Made in the UK, with high quality leather stretched around a strong, wooden inner frame (the furniture is therefore not light in weight) // According to classic Chesterfield design, the only difference being that there is a comfortable, higher back cushion sits where armrests normally continue into a low back // Model is available at Springvale Chesterfield under the name 'Oxford' // Cushion padding is 'medium' in terms of firmness // I am selling another similar armchair and sofa in the same design, see other advertisements.
In general, this armchair has become slightly lighter in color due to placement close to the window. The chair was angled with the back towards the window, the discoloration is therefore best seen at the back. Hence, this armchair is priced slightly lower than the other copy (which is slightly closer to the original color), but overall it is certainly not an unpleasant discoloration. The leather at the bottom at the front of the armchair has some kind of scratch/scratch spot, the paint layer is slightly damaged here. It is not a deep scratch, see also detail photo. This is probably good to touch up locally.
