A fantastic wall system with shelves designed by Cees Braakman and produced by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1960. The cabinet has three white wooden back panels from which the 12 shelves hang using black metal shelf holders. The minimalist and modern style of the piece is iconic of Braakman's famous "Japanese series." Modular because there are more black metal holders and you can hang shelves as you like. All shelves have been sanded and re-oiled. One shelf has a stain that could not be erased. Back wall panels have been refreshed with a new coat of paint. All should be hung on the wall with the original special hanging rails
