Product description
Bauhaus design armchair designed by Hungarian designer Anton Lorenz. Inspired by Mart Stam's cantilever chair idea, Lorenz developed several tubular steel frame chairs in the late 1920s, including this D35. German manufacturer Tecta further developed it into this Kinetic version. The backrest can be moved backward using body pressure while the seat slides forward. A wonderful, comfortable relaxation chair! Tube frame finished in brushed steel, seat in synthetic wicker (wicker) topped with seat cushions of supple black cowhide leather (attached with sturdy snaps). The armchair is in very good condition with only slight signs of use to wicker and upholstery. Minor restorations: one non-original nut on the side, and front tube seat rewrapped with slightly different material (barely visible). Dimensions: Height 97 cm Seat height 30-38 cm Width 63 cm Seat width 58 cm Depth 85 cm Seat depth 46 cm Collection Hollandse Kade, Abcoude. Delivery possible in Amsterdam, Utrecht and surroundings.
Very light signs of use on wickerwork and upholstery. Repairs underneath seat.
Originated from smoke-free and pet-free home.
