Product description
608 Taliesin" Dining Table Designed in 1917 for Governor Henry J. Allen of Kansas, this dining table echoes the design of Frank Lloyd Wright's 1904 "Barrel" chairs. The supporting structure consists of four sculptural pillars with decorative linear details and trapezoidal legs. A panel of straight wooden columns connects the side pillars, and a central beam provides additional support. The meticulously crafted elements create a substantial, imposing presence, while the elegant rectangular table top has a classic, timeless appeal, making it a striking piece for any dining room.
The matching Barrel chairs have now been sold.
Normal signs of use. There are some scratches around the legs. The overall condition of the table is very good and consistent with use and age.
