This daybed is named "Arielle" and was designed in 1955 by Wim Rietveld for Auping. An example of post-war design from the Netherlands. This is unique version, which you can fold up very easily. When the bed is upright, you can easily move it partly because of the wheels underneath. Can be used as a bed (mattress size 80 x 190 cm), but also for example as a lounge sofa. In solid condition with age-related marks on the frame.
