Its cantilever frame made of chrome-plated steel symbolizes Mies van der Rohe's principle of "less is more" and combines elegance and comfort. The version from the 1990s, manufactured by Knoll, is characterized by its striking simplicity and high-quality workmanship, which preserves the original design. The chair is particularly comfortable thanks to the upholstered seat and is suitable as a dining chair as well as for meeting or conference rooms. The original chair is easy to identify thanks to the embossed Knoll lettering, the van der Rohe signature on the chrome-plated frame and the Knoll brand material on the underside of the chair.
