This beautiful Japanese lounge garden chair was designed by renowned garden architect Arend Jan van der Horst (now 80) and commissioned by John's Garden Furniture. The garden chair was produced in the Netherlands around 2002 and made of Iroko wood and not teak. The unusual garden chair has been put on sale by a number of higher-end garden furniture centers.

With his formal and Japanese gardens, he made a name for himself in Europe and set the trend for the modern romantic Lifestyle Garden internationally with the creation of his natural landscape garden. A new vision in holistic green thinking. The Iroko wood has a beautiful golden/chocolate brown color and ages beautifully over time. The wood has little action which makes it suitable for many indoor and outdoor projects! Think of cladding or even furniture!
