Product description
Size: Height approx 26 cm Length approx 32 cm Width 22 cm Material: hard plastic and steel Background of the design: On September 27, 1994, Philips and Alessi launched a collaborative project consisting of high-end electrical kitchen appliances consisting of a toaster, a citrus press, a coffee maker, and kettle, here offering one of products from this legendary design line. This worldwide well-known design coffee maker, designed by Stefano Marzano for Alessi / Philips, in light salmon-colored edition. When Philips introduced the newest household appliances from the Alessi line in the Groninger Museum in October 1994, the company spoke of being “trendsetters in the area of kitchen appliances”. The designs of the Italian designer Alberto Alessi would “ravish design fans and gastronomes”. This prophecy seems to have come true. Form and function are optimally combined. In the meantime this has become a collectors' item. It has become permanent collection of the MOMA since 1997.
The on button has a crack (see picture) but does not affect use.
