4x Wilde + Spieth SE68 chair upholstered by Egon Eiermann Egon Eiermann is considered one of the most important German architects of postwar modernism. Not only was Eiermann highly regarded as an architect, he also had a lasting influence on a generation of furniture designers. Eiermann was the first to develop series furniture in Germany after World War II that met international standards of form and functionality. He is considered the leader of the Second Modern Movement in the field of furniture design. Eiermann designed a 1948 collection of chairs for Wilde & Spieth. The seat of the Se68 chairs are upholstered and the chairs are in good condition but do have signs of use (some more than others) Are offered per 4 pieces but very large numbers available Chairs have signs of use appropriate to the age and style
