Product description
For sale is a completely restored dining chair set by Henning Kjaernulf for Bruno Hansen in a unique condition! Object: Dining chair set, designed 1955 Version: leather Description: solid teak frame made of pedestals and frames; forelegs tapering; Hind legs curved contour of the backrest area, straight, rounded shape; concave spherical header; Seat made of molded plywood with new high-quality cold foam, firmly screwed to the frame; new nickel-plated steel chair gliders; dark red-brown, partly almost black heartwood, which runs through the surface as if painted Manufacturer: Bruno Hansen, Denmark, brand mark on seat shell and frame Designers: Architect Henning Kjaernulf, Denmark Material: Teak oiled / naturally grained premium aniline nappa leather! It is strong, firm, durable and yet soft and cuddly. Unique in the drawing of pores, scars and surface structure Info: Little leather science: "Leather is not just leather !!"... Please do not compare this leather with standard leather that has been grained artificially. In the case of artificially grained leather, the lower skin layers of the animal skin (split leather) are pressed through heated steel rollers. The rollers have a surface that mimics the natural grain of leather and uses pressure and heat to create an artificial grain (embossing) on the original smooth leather. This artificially grained leather is very often used for leather furniture, which is offered on ebay, Amazon & Co and in upholstered furniture department stores with so-called bargain prices, producer prices, direct purchase prices etc. (often Chinese goods) or for branded furniture in the lower and middle price segment . This furniture is often advertised with the term "real leather", which is factually correct. This does not mean high quality, it is by no means a seal of quality but only says that it is not artificial leather!! Incidentally, the leather is characterized by a fairly high degree of wear and tear, with normal use the grain will disappear after a while. It also feels cold and often quite rubbery due to the heavy application of paint. The difference in quality is also noticeable in terms of price, it only costs about 1/3 of the price of high-quality leather at the tanneries, since it is actually rejected goods or third-class goods in the conventional sense. Hue: jet black teak (dark brown with a beautiful reddish tint and natural color nuances) Info... The photos are highly exposed so that the 1a condition can also be seen in detail! This makes reddish tints redder and colors generally lighter. The shaded areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reproduce the color tones in real life. Shine on the photos or greyish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are semi-matt to semi-glossy. Dimensions: approx. W: 50.5cm; D: 46cm; H: 79cm; seat height: 46cm; Seat depth: 40cm Condition: This is restoration in perfection. These chairs are indistinguishable from new chairs! We are certain that we have again achieved a result here that is unique. You are welcome to search worldwide, you will not get this chair anywhere - not even remotely - in this condition!
