Rare set of 3 metallic nesting tables designed by Floris H. Fiedeldij for Artimeta in the 50's - 60's. Good original state, solid black painted tubular structure with perforated metallic panels alternatively painted in white and black. Overall nice patina consistent with age and use. All 12 table feet are finished with a rubber ending piece. Dimensions (length x width x height in cm): - Large white table: 48,5 X 33,5 X 41,5 - Middle black table: 41 X 33,5 X 38,5 - Small white table: 33,5 X 33,5 X 35,5
The set is in overall good original condition. It doesn't seem to have been repainted in the past so it's presumably in reasonably good preserved original condition. The metallic tubular structures of the 3 tables are solid but present several paint scratches and superficial rust spots. The perforated top panel of the large white table presents only one tiny paint defect, whilst the black panel of the middle table shows a couple of rusty paint defects that are visible only from close inspection thanks to the black colour. The paint of the 4 corners of the top panel of the smaller white table is slightly worn out. To sum it up this rare set benefits from a nice original patina consistent with age and use.
