Photos are part of advertisement Dimensions H 80 x W 77 x D 80cm Jewel in your home, Dutch design When designer Jan Nijland showed us his striking design for a chair made of curved tubular steel, we thought for sure we would find something similar somewhere in our collection of classic design catalogs. But after hours and hours of searching, we were convinced - with the Steeler, Jan has reinvented the classic tubular chair with a design that creates the illusion that the seat is floating in space. In his design, Jan paid as much attention to the space between the elements as to the elements themselves, with a surprising and delightful effect. Inspired by Jan's ingenious chair design, we asked him to complement it with a pouf and a 157-centimeter-wide sofa to create the full Steeler series. All three items are equally suitable for private living rooms or study rooms, and commercial spaces such as hotel lobbies and offices.
