Fantastic set of 2 Soft Pad Chairs EA 207 by Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra. This is the model version in blue leather. The backrest is also upholstered in leather. The side profiles, armrests, clamps and base are made of cast aluminum, chrome plated. The Soft Pad Chairs shown are in good condition, as you can see from the extended product photos. Some light spots appropriate to the age of the chairs. Both chairs have manufacturer's marks from Vitra. The Soft Pad Chairs were designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1969 and are considered one of the most important designs of the 20th century. They are similar in construction and shape to the Aluminum Chairs, but they are softer, more voluptuous and conform to the body. The chairs are ideal as visitor and conference chairs, as well as for private use, for example for the home office or as a dining room chair.
