The Tress floor lamp is a 2008 design by Marc Sadler for Italian manufacturer Foscarini. It is the first lamp for the Tress collection, which was successfully expanded in 2009. The design of this floor or hall lamp consists of a web of resin-covered ribbons, reminiscent of the structure of baskets. The key idea was to create an interplay of padded parts and airy parts, a literal mesh of light and material, which changes depending on the way it is used and the location of the lamp, creating various lighting effects.
