Product description
This is the Art 'Fall Mix (September)' by American artist Julie Dummermuth. The work, created in 2002, is a mixed-media composition on canvas that combines painting with decorative applications. The piece is characterized by a dynamic and layered representation of floral motifs against a deep, dark background.
The painting is executed with acrylic, oil paint, gemstones, and glitter on canvas. With dimensions of 142 by 240 cm, it is an imposing work. The color palette consists of a predominantly black base, enlivened by flowers in various shades of red, pink, and gray, with subtle gold accents. Dummermuth's technique creates a remarkable texture and depth, where painted forms are accentuated by the sparkle of the added materials.
The overall condition of the Art is excellent, retaining the original vibrant colors and the intact details of the gemstones and glitter. This work has a clear provenance; it was purchased in 2003 at a Sotheby's auction in Amsterdam, which is supported by the original purchase invoice. This documentation confirms the authenticity and history of the piece.
Due to its considerable size and rich visual texture, this Art makes a powerful statement in any interior. It fits well in a modern, eclectic, or minimalist space where it can serve as a central focal point, for example, in a living room, dining room, or a spacious entrance.
