Unfortunately there is no more room for it and hopefully the cabinet will find a nice destination along this path.
What is also possible is to make something more modern of it, see the last picture as an example. The furniture maker's heart hurts a little then. But in a slightly vintage oriented interior the cabinet would fit nicely.
