This impressive minimalist design floor lamp was designed by Dutch designer Aldo van de Nieuwelaar in the late 1960s. It was produced by Artimeta. They were produced in white and in chrome, with chrome being the rarest version. Only 47 chrome ones were produced. This is No. 41. Numbered below the base.
The lamp has an impressive height of 202 cm. The top tube can be rotated to direct the light. It is also suitable for wall mounting.
The transformer at the bottom also functions as a weight to hold the lamp in place.
This particular lamp has been adapted to LED by an electrician. while retaining the original transformer and connections. It can easily be brought back to original. New cable and foot switch have been installed.
