This Frits Schuitema Jugendstil armchair August is made in solid French oak and blue patinated cow leather, produced in the Netherlands, late 20th/early 21st century.
The renowned craftsmanship displayed by this piece is stunning, as is the excellent seating comfort.
The woodwork is clearly by the hand of a true craftsman, showing beautiful Art Nouveau elements.
While the inviting armrests embrace the user, the richly padded seat and back create the comfort you would expect, judging from the well-chosen proportions.
The chair is in very good condition and displays beautifully patinated cowhide leather.
