Offered is this nice original antique bentwood Thonet bistro chair model No. 14 with a new matted seat.
This antique bistro chair, model No. 14, was designed by Thonet and was one of Thonet's most popular chairs alongside chair No. 18. This chair was produced by the Austrian Josef Hoffmann, probably around 1900. This model is still produced, but now as No. 218. This chair is still in a good and stable condition and has a new hand matted seat. Due to and for its age it has normal signs of use and has acquired a nice patina over the years.
