Designed by product designer Karl Dittert for Stoll Giroflex in the 1960s, this exceptionally comfortable office chair/ recliner has become a classic. Dittert worked as a teacher, professor and founding rector at what is now the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Design. His works have received numerous awards and are shown internationally in renowned museums (e.g. MOMA/ New York, Design Center/Stuttgart). Stoll is a furniture manufacturer that has specialized in the production of office furniture since the 1870s.
The armchair is upholstered in beautiful dark brown leather with a back and seat shell of oak. The armchair is truly in wonderful condition with only very light signs of use. The oak shells are also in exceptionally good condition. The swivel mechanism of the armchair works smoothly. The chair is marked. An absolute showpiece of outstanding quality and a seating comfort you can say!
