Exceptional coffee table by the Italian sculptor and designer Giuseppe Rivadossi, featuring a high level of craftsmanship in woodwork. This unique coffee table features Rivadossi’s signature glass window design. This iconic design is highly sought after, and is rarely seen in the shape of a coffee table. The beautiful Slavonian oak shows a beautiful wood grain. The inverted design of the windows bring an interesting dimensional look in the coffee table. The two doors on the opposite side of the drawers connect internally, creating a large storage space. When sunlight streams through one side of the windows, it bathes the interior of the coffee table in a breathtaking scene, visible through the opposing windows. Giuseppe Rivadossi (1935) was born in Monteclana di Nave, Italy, where he still lives and works. At a young age, Rivadossi’s path begins with wood carving, with works reflecting on his poetic idea of living. In 1962 Rivadossi took over the carpentry founded in 1920 by his father Clemente, which he transformed into an atelier, or rather a creative workshop. Eventually, Rivadossi and collaborators established ‘Officina Rivadossi’ in 1976 where he started the manufacture of wooden objects and unique modern furniture. Condition: Very good and original
