The 'Reply' drafting table was designed in 1963 by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld for the Dutch manufacturer Ahrend de Cirkel. The design was inspired in part by the work of Jean Prouvé. The timeless design of this drafting table was awarded the prestigious design prize "Signe d'Or" in Brussels in the same year of its introduction. The table has since become an unmistakable and iconic piece of Dutch Design.
The table is designed as a dynamic work table to meet various needs. The top can be adjusted in many different ways allowing it to be used as a desk, as a standing work table and everything in between.
The table comes with a chair in the same design. This has a corresponding base and a laminated bentwood seat and back.The table is in very good condition. The metal has a beautiful patina and the top is in excellent condition with only a few light signs of use.
The chair is in good condition and has light corrosion on the base and some paint spots giving it a nice and used look. The construction is still very sturdy and solid.
The set may be picked up in Nunspeet or can be delivered by me personally from 40 euros.
