Extremely rare minimalist floor lamp from 1956. This lamp is a design classic by the Swiss visionary designer Edi Franz, created for Swisslamps International. The simple design of this floor lamp is far ahead of its time, with the elegance of minimalist design and the sophisticated technical details.
The lamp has a round chrome-plated metal base with a chrome-plated rod. It has two adjustable tubular aluminum spotlights, the two spots can be rotated and moved up and down. Despite the age of this lamp is works perfectly and has a long life ahead of it, due to the extremely good quality of the materials and design. This vintage/antique item has age-appropriate patina and signs of use (e.g. scratches and dents), but no technical defects. One lamp plug cover is broken, but does not affect the function and is not visible. See photos for details of the signs of use and age
