Very rare lighting object from the Metamorfosi series by Artemide. Iride model, designed in the 1990s by Pierluigi Nicolin.
The object consists of four spotlights with halogen lamps, each with a Plexiglas tube on top. Three of the spotlights are fitted with a dichroic filter, so they shine in different colors. This technology produces beautiful colors, much more beautiful than colored LED bulbs.
The base of the tubes is designed so that they can stand upright or at an angle. Each tube is connected to the control unit with a long cable and can be positioned freely. The dimensions (width and depth) are therefore only examples
Each tube can be dimmed with the corresponding remote control, making countless lighting scenes possible. Many are already programmed, but you can also create your own.
The object is in good condition, with some slight signs of ageing and use. The tabs on the battery compartment cover of the remote control have broken off, so I have fixed them with Sellotape. Technically, everything works perfectly.
The lamp is located in Krefeld and can be picked up there.Slight scratches in the Plexiglas, slight loss of the mirror coating on the edges of one or two feet. Tabs on the remote control battery cover missing
