Who doesn't (re)know it? The Dots design by Alessandro Mendini. You encounter it on his famous chair, vase but also on the limited edition corkscrews Anna G and Sandro M. Mendini was a gifted architect and designer. At one time he worked for Alchimia. An avant-garde designer group. He worked closely with the Italian Desgin-Factory Alessi, for which he designed numerous products. One of his great successes was the series of corkscrews Anna G and Sandro M. But he was also responsible for the project 100% Make Up. One hundred limited edition vases with decors of all kinds of artists. Unfortunately, this kind man passed away on February 18, 2019. But he lives on in his countless, for different brands, designed products.
