A set of six ¨Thur on Seat¨ chairs, produced around the 1970s by the Dutch firm Galvanitas. Designed by Paul Philipsen, model S22 has a sophisticated design (with so-called compass legs) that allows them to be not only stacked but also easily linked together.
The solid steel base features a comfortable seat designed by Elmar Flötotto and manufactured at the German firm Pagholz.
Very durable and maintenance-free. These vintage specimens are also characterized by the opening at the bottom of the backrest, making them easy to grip. New reproductions do not have this.
These ¨Mid - Century Modern" chairs are in good used condition.
Size: seat height 45 cm. The backrest comes to 80 cm, and the chairs are 54 cm. wide.
