The Jan des Bouvrie 430 Cube Sofa is a sofa designed by Jan des Bouvrie in a modern style for the Dutch furniture brand Montis. In 1969 Gelderland founder Oberman visited the Goed Wonen furniture store of the des Bouvrie family in Bussum. The young ambitious Jan managed to convince him with his first design sketches. In the same year his Gelderland 430 'Kubus' sofa was launched. It is a sofa with a steel frame, upholstered seat and back cushions and a combination of leather and fabric upholstery. The frame is available in different colors and the upholstery can be customized in any color. The sofa has a low, rectangular profile with angled armrests and an integrated headrest for extra comfort. It is the perfect choice for a contemporary living room or office space.
