Beautifully shaped vintage West Germany vase with handle, from the 1960s, Bay Keramik, 99 - 30, designed by Bodo Mans. The vase has a relief decoration in glossy deep ochre yellow glaze, dark colored at high pu ten of the relief decoration adding depth and texture. The inside of the vase is also finished with glaze. Its unique shape and bold design make it a timeless piece for any mid-century modern or contemporary interior. In perfect condition Dimensions Height 31 cm Diameter 20 cm Width with handle 24 Diameter top opening 11 cm Bay Keramik was founded in 1933 by Eduard Bay and his son Eugen Bay in Ransbach-Baumbach, Germany. The company mainly produced ceramic art objects, vases, bowls and other decorative pieces. Many of their designs were inspired by the modern art movements of the time, including the Bauhaus and Art Deco.
