Table lamp model Lucid Harmonie designed by Soren Eriksen for Lucid, Vintage - France
Iconic Lucid Harmonie lamp designed by Soren Eriksen for Lucid (Atelier Sedap) in France. This model was probably designed for the Hilton hotel in Barcelona in the 1980s; However, it was not manufactured until the 90s, appearing in the Lucid catalogs from 1996 to 2002. Simple structure, it emanates great influence of the modern Danish as well as Italian movement. Made in most cases in Madeira, it is barely dyed, also with metal and thermoplastic or acrylic elements. Round base in Madeira with metal support and conical base. However, the most surprising part of the design is the conical curved panel, created from two single sheets of madeira by means of a white thermoplastic diffuser, which provides a very special light in the room.
Lucid is a lighting brand from Atelier Sedap (1968), also owned by Dix Heures Dix. Sedap creates and manufactures, under the Lucid brand, curved lights from Madeira with decidedly contemporary lines. On plans or models realize all the prototypes of curved lights from Madeira. Currently continuing to expand its range, it is present in all markets with a strong presence in exportation and participates in numerous events in Europe. The designers who work for the company are, among others: Jean-Pierre Boutillier, Michel Tortel, Luc Rabault, Charlotte Arnal, Fabrice Berrux, Yves Blayo, Alain Brux, Didier Cornille, Rémi Fontaine, Philippe Gourdon, Arsenii Leonovitch, Irina Petruk, Neil Poultron.
Sören Eriksen founded the company Design & Visions Studio in 1996 together with interior designer Nathalie Craps. It is located in Levallois-Perret (Paris) and is active until 2014.
