Beautiful vintage ceramic bowl with lid, design by Han Cornelissens for Bronkhorst from the 1970s. The bowl is in very good condition (like new) and is signed at the bottom. Height: 10 cm Diameter: 18 cm Colors: blue, black Han Cornelissens BronkhorstHan Cornelissens was born in 1935 in Wijk aan Zee. What education he received is unknown, but it is known that he was a student of Jan van Stolk and was a friend of Jaap Dommisse. In the 1960s he became known as a ceramist in Bronkhorst where he had his own studio. Characteristic are the painted motifs such as lines, squares and circles. Sometimes these motifs were incised, a technique also regularly used by his teacher Jan van Stolk.
