This mid-century black table lamp was designed and produced in the early 1970s. Its design (mainly the shade) was strongly inspired by the Italian production of the time.
Both the round, flat base of the lamp and the shade are made of steel. They are painted black, which contrasts nicely with the silver base that connects them. The silver colour of the steel "neck" also gives the whole lamp a subtle and light appearance. The shape of the shade resembles two half-spheres joined together and can be moved to different positions and heights by adjusting the steel rod.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition, with light natural wear acquired over the years inside the shade and on the steel rod. There are no chips or cracks on any part of the lamp. There is a new cable with the plug. The on-off button is original and the lamp is fully functional.
