Beautiful large teapot or coffeepot in fine white Limoges porcelain, unstamped, however, vintage/antique. Tall form, narrow round foot slightly pleated, polylobed body flared towards the top then narrowed with serrated rim around the lid, small short spout in high acanthus leaf relief, large handle with plant stem relief, and small rounded pyramidal lid slightly faceted, with tassel in the shape of a flower bud. Approx. 23.5cm max. height with lid, 19cm height without, 7.5cm diameter at foot, approx. 12cm max. diameter, 22cm max. width beak+handle. Near-new condition, rare use if any. 5 very small original firing cracks on one side of the foot rim, extremely discreet.
