Product description
This armchair from the 1960s is a true showpiece. Designed to focus on simplicity and functionality, it features clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic. Made from high-quality materials, such as teak wood and fabric (mainly a blend of wool and cotton), it exudes a timeless elegance that fits seamlessly into any modern home. The fabric is slower-woven and showcases thicker wool yarns that intentionally give this volume an unstructured look. Furniture designer Ib Kofod-Larsen was born in Denmark in 1921 and studied at the Danish Royal Academy in Copenhagen. He trained as an architect and was particularly inspired by Danish furniture design, characterized by elegant, organic, sculptural forms. Beautiful woods, such as teak and rosewood, as well as rich leathers, are what he worked most often with.
The item has been completely reupholstered and the foam interior has been replaced for added comfort. There is a small wood chip on the left front leg.
