The icon of the Style movement, the red blue chair by Gerrit Rietveld. This very nicely finished chair was made in the 80's after Gerrit Rietveld's original drawings. Even under the seat of the chair is the poem that is also present under the original chair of Gerrit Rietveld. The structure of the chair is made of beech wood, while the seat and backrest are made of plywood panels. The black parts are tinted, leaving the grain of the wood visible. The colored parts are finished with opaque matte paint, like the original in the Stedelijk Museum. The chair is in very good condition.
