This seat is an heirloom has a weathered patina. It was not a show model to have in the house but was used daily because of its superior qualities. Effortlessly rotates on a round base, with 1 lever from easy sitting to reclining position. The leather back seat is attached with hidden zipper and push buttons. You can adjust the seat manually and personally prefer this. You have more assurance of longevity and this almost never breaks down unlike electrically adjustable devices. This Jori recliner can only be picked up as it is too bulky to ship. Some know-it-alls that I can only agree with: This 20th-century ergonomic design recliner with patented JORI recliner mechanism guarantees a 360° pivoting reclining system tilting seat that brings the body to muscle tone '0'. A comfort position, where all muscles relax and the body rests on the seat with evenly distributed pressure. The leather has its lines and patina from over 30 years of relaxing. Only on the back at the top, on a corner , is by rubbing against a wall little damage visible. This does not change the quality of the seating/laying but I want to mention it.
