Annemiek Punt (1959).
Her artistry revolves around glass and painting, and is characterized by her painterly imagery.
Painting
One of Annemiek's teachers was Riemko Holtrop (1914-1996), a pioneer in the breakthrough of modern art after 1945. As early as the age of 12, Annemiek received painting and drawing lessons from this Hengelo artist. In the early 1980s, Annemiek successfully completed the course in Drawing and Painting at the Academy for Art and Industry (AKI) in Enschede. Here she was able to further develop her artistry under the guidance of abstract expressionist Wim Izaks (1950-1989).
Glass art
Since 1979, she has designed and realized more than 100 large-scale, monumental works of glass art. From Amsterdam to Berlin, from Lekkerkerk to Nagasaki. One of her most famous works of art is the stained glass window in the Nieuwe Kerk in Delft. For her achievements, Annemiek was appointed Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau.
Print was not framed by the studio but purchased as a print and later framed.
