Vintage adjustable daybed 'Stella' designed by Wilhelm Knoll, Germany in the late 1950s. Very nice model in the still original velvet upholstery. So neat you rarely come across them. Solid beech frame with tapered legs. The frame is structurally sound and in solid condition. There are rails running in the frame through which the seating elements can easily be turned 90° to form an elongated bed. In rotated position you fold the backrest flat, it then serves as a pillow. Hey daybed features the still original yellow velour upholstery and it is still pristine. No worn spots or tears. The suspension is still nice and firm and the daybed can be used practically as well as an ornamental object. A one-of-a-kind eye-catcher, you will find only one of these!
